Before you apply

  • Preventogen will adhere best to an area that is clean and dry
  • Wash your hands
  • Clean and dry the area thoroughly
  • Ensure that no lotion, cream, or soap remains on your skin
  • Protect sensitive areas
  • Don’t use near your eyes, mouth, nose, or open wounds
  • Depending on the nature of the injury, some people may feel an intense warming sensation as Preventogen is actively killing pathogens on contact

IMPORTANT

  • Don’t use on deep, infected, or puncture wounds
  • If you see redness, swelling, pain, or signs of infection, contact your doctor
  • Keep away from eyes, mouth, nose, and heat or flames
  • Do not inhale or intentionally smell the applicator
  • Keep out of reach of children

HOW to apply

  • Open the package and remove the applicator.
  • Hold it with the cotton tip facing up and squeeze near the tip to break the glass inside
  • Use one or two hands to squeeze until you hear and feel the ‘pop’ of the vial activating
  • Turn it upside down and gently squeeze to moisten the cotton tip
  • Don’t squeeze too hard—go slowly!
  • Apply the liquid evenly around and over the wound, extending at least 1 inch beyond the edges
  • You may feel a quick sting—that’s normal
  • It dries in under a minute. Make sure it’s dry before covering with clothes or tape

After you apply

  • It should last 1–3 days, depending on your skin and activity
  • Check the film for peeling or cracks, especially after bathing or sweating
  • If it starts to come off, you can apply another layer right on top!

To remove

  • Gently wash the area with soap and water
  • Peel from the edges inward

to store

  • Store at room temperature (59–86°F or 15–30°C)
  • Keep away from direct sunlight
